Administration Kit
Any antivirus needs system tools
Kaspersky Administration Kit is a set of system administration tools for centralized installation, configuration and monitoring of corporate network anti-virus protection.
Comprehensive management
Kaspersky Administration Kit supports remote management of Kaspersky Anti-Virus performance, including:
- Deployment, scanning and treatment of all network nodes
- Setting automatic scanning schedules
- Configuring program modules on individual computers
- Managing user privileges
- Viewing reports
Optimized installation
Network operation is unaffected during the installation process, since administrators can schedule installations in accordance with specific company needs. Centralized multi-threaded installation means that up to 50 installation processes can be launched simultaneously. The program also has a function which defers the application of edited program parameters. If a computer is not connected to the network when protection settings are changed, a copy of these settings is saved on the server until the connection is restored.
All suspicious and infected files can be quarantined in a single file pending further analysis. Even if an infected file is deleted, the administrator can restore the file from a backup copy.
Flexible notification system
With Kaspersky Administration Kit, administrators can list events which will automatically trigger notification if they occur on any of the network nodes, e.g. the detection of a virus or incomplete updating of antivirus databases on workstations.
