Comprehensive protection
Virus protection for workstations is an essential part of any full-scale information security system. Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux Workstation is designed to detect all types of malicious code, including Java applets and ActiveX controls

Full scale scanning
File system on workstations be scanned automatically according to a pre-defined schedule, or a scan of individual objects (a file, a directory, a disk etc.) can be manually initiated at any time. When malicious code is detected, it can either be deleted from infected files, including files in tar and zip format, or the infected objects can be sent to the quarantine directory pending further analysis

Automatic notification
All system events are logged. Notification is automatically sent to system administrators when suspicious or infected files are detected. Notification includes the source and current location of the virus

Management tools
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux Workstations is fully integrated with the Webmin administration module, which provides tools for remote configuration and management of the programs. The Kaspersky Updater module supports the renewal of antivirus databases every hour.
