Checkpoint Firewall
A secure information management system requires reliable antivirus protection working in tandem with an effective firewall. Kaspersky Labs has developed an antivirus solution designed to complement Checkpoint Firewall-1 in order to provide businesses with a multi-tier information security system.
Rapid data exchange
The program acts as a filter, intercepting and scanning data transmitted by HTTP, FTP or SMTP protocol in real time. It supports a configurable system of data packet exchange between the antivirus program, the firewall, and networked computers, thus optimising system performance.
Reliable protection
All data entering the network is scanned, including archive and compressed files. The program can treat, quarantine, or refuse to load the suspicious object. When a virus is detected, notification will be sent to the administrator with details of the source and current location of the malicious program. Configuration options provide the opportunity to include additional log information in notifications.
Defining scanning parameters
The number of files to be scanned can be reduced by excluding file types by mask. Administrators can also choose whether or not to scan complex objects such as files containing graphics, databases and data from other applications. It is possible to limit the maximum size of objects which are subject to scanning
