Removal Tools and Update Sets

Here you will find downloads that ICE Systems has made available for our Kaspersky Labs customers. Feel free to retrieve and utilize these files as needed and contact us if you have any questions.

KAV Removal Tools

The primary purpose of Kaspersky Antivirus software is to prevent your computers from ever becoming infected by a virus. Bear in mind that the mere existence of a detected virus object on your machine DOES NOT mean that your computer has become INFECTED. In most cases, the virus must be executed or opened by an UNPROTECTED computer in order for infection to occur. In the event of actual infection, damage caused by the virus may prevent KAV from successful installation.
You may then need to use one of the removal tools provided by Kaspersky Labs.

Antivirus Signature Updates

In order to ensure proper protection for your computer, you must make certain Kaspersky Antivirus is retrieving new AV signature updates no less than once per day (preferably every 3 hours). The downloads provided here are not intended to replace the automated facility and will not offer maximum security. They are available solely for temporary usage.

• Daily Update
  (daily.zip)
  
• Weekly Update
  (weekly.zip - for the current week)
  
• Complete Update
  (cumul.zip - includes everything prior to weekly, daily)

NOTE: These links are updated each morning.

Daily.zip - contains all updates and modifications released during the current week. The current week starts from the previous Friday, when the last weekly update was released. It is placed on the update server every hour. You should download daily.zip if you update your antivirus databases at least once a week.

Weekly.zip - contains all updates and modifications released during the previous week (a full version of the week's daily.zip). It is placed on the server once a week, on Friday. When this file is placed on the server, it will cause the size of daily.zip to be equal to zero. You should download this file if you update your antivirus databases less than once a week, but more often than once every two weeks.

Cumul.zip - contains all the updates and modifications released at the time of the previous week's update. This is placed on the sever at the same time as the new weekly.zip. You should download this file if you have not updated your antivirus databases in the last two weeks.
